Part Qualified Accountant

The successful applicant would join Gopsall Services as an AAT or ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Finalist, Associate Accountant. Study support available.


Key Skills

  • Ability to complete analytical reviews and produce Balance Sheet reconciliations with detailed supporting backing schedules
  • A skills set allowing you to deal with client queries, communicate effectively and provide exceptional client service
  • IT literate - familiarity with Sage, Xero and Iris is preferable
  • Being a strong team player is essential
  • Audit experience preferred or a desire to enhance/learn audit skills
  • Minimum of 12 months practice experience
  • Working towards AAT/ACA/ACCA

Main Duties

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLP’s and Limited companies
  • Liaising with clients and answering basic queries
  • Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and dealing with HMRC
  • Assisting with audit assignments
  • Providing support to colleagues and other miscellaneous duties, as needed

Administrator 


Job description

We are looking to fill a full time administrator vacancy in our dynamic accountancy practice with someone who can provide a first-class service to our clients and professional and proactive support to the directors and team members.
As part of the admin team, you will support the day-to-day function of our office and carrying out a range of administrative and business support tasks.



Key Skills

  • Being agile in your approach to work and the ability to be a strong team player
  • Providing an exceptional ‘first point of contact’ service to clients and contacts
  • IT literate - familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential and familiarity with Iris would be advantageous
  • A skills set allowing you to maintain client relationship, communicate effectively and provide exceptional client service
  • Good time managements skills and excellent attention to detail are a must
  • Undertaking general administrative duties for the business – such has client onboarding, producing statutory
  • Companies House documents, and other ad hoc duties as required
  • Experience of working with professional services is preferred but not essential
